What you are actually walking into
The 2027 bulletin is not published yet. Build from the latest official syllabus and pattern, but keep every date and format assumption provisional until NTA confirms it.
This planner uses 2 May 2027 as a conservative deadline. It is the first Sunday of May, not an officially announced exam date. NTA has not yet published the NEET (UG) 2027 information bulletin, so the mode, duration, number of shifts and any normalisation policy remain provisional.
Practical consequence: alternate OMR and on-screen mocks for now. The moment NTA publishes the bulletin, update the date and duration here and make every remaining mock match the announced mode.
180 compulsory questions · 720 marks · 180 minutes. Physics 45 · Chemistry 45 · Biology 90. Use these 2026 figures for planning only; replace them if the 2027 bulletin changes the pattern.
At +4 correct, −1 wrong and four options, a blind guess averages +0.25 marks; break-even accuracy is 20%. Elimination improves the expectation, but time and accuracy still matter more than mechanical guessing.
The tracker covers 83 chapter-level units mapped to the official 2026 syllabus, including Physics experimental skills and the non-chapter Chemistry units. Check it again against the 2027 syllabus when released.
What a day looks like
Three templates. The clock times matter less than the structure: Biology on the freshest brain, Physics when you can concentrate hardest, questions on every new topic the same day, and a fixed half-hour of error-notebook work before bed.
Tests and score targets
The 27 Aakash papers are integrated into the calendar. Each replaces the nearest suitable internal test, and every mapped topic closes before its planned sitting. Full-length scores become comparable after the syllabus closes in Week 23.

Test rhythm by phase
- Phase 1 — Aakash papers use the nearest suitable Sunday; open Sundays retain the cumulative-test rhythm.
- Phase 2 — Aakash papers replace the matching mock. FT-06, NBTS_R-02 and FT-07 use protected Wednesdays; revision is redistributed.
- Phase 3 — Aakash papers occupy the Wednesday/Sunday slots first; only open slots receive an internal full mock.
- Phase 4 — AIATS-10 and AIATS-11 are the final full papers. No duplicate mock is placed beside them.
The two-hour analysis, step by step
- 1. Re-solve every wrong question yourself, notes closed, before opening any solution.
- 2. Tag each mistake: concept gap · silly · misread · time.
- 3. Find the ones you got right by guessing — those are undetected gaps and they will cost you in May.
- 4. Note the three chapters that cost most marks. They become next week's evening slot.
- 5. Check your per-section timing against the 55 / 40 / 55 split and adjust.
